I'm so proud of my boy Joshua, I remember when he was younger on Decatur you would've never thought he'll be so much into fashion and designing his own clothing line. This isn't a common thing coming from the environment were from, we're used to seeing a tough guy image and anything outside this is frowned upon. People like Joshua is changing attitudes worldwide by setting an example of how to dress elegant, unique, and mature without claiming a specific social status. Passion Pit "To Kingdom Come (Grum Remix)"

What a great song on Passion Pit's 09 album "Manners" but I heard the remix first and I feel in love with it, it's true that another man's pain is another man's pleasure and this songs describes that whole feeling, it's not that we like the song because someone else is going through hard times with another person and that it's satisfying but it's how relative the lyrics are to us all. One thing I'm starting to notice about the birth of a new era of music is that usually sad songs have slow tempos and happy songs have fast tempos, well this song offers soft meaningful lyrics with a dance house club beat be hide it which makes a perfect all around song.

Me and Anthony argue about The pictures he told me to post up, he said the blog looks like Kanye's, I think topless women should be expressed on his blog so that people can get used to the human body and not be so surprised by the nudest. This morning I put up the Passion Pit performing live at the Woodie awards and he wasn't happy because he specifically wanted The Reeling music video, I said The Reeling live brings more originality to the blog thats all, trust your Editor please.

I like This band because there sound is so unique and different, I could honestly listen to this song on repeat for hours. I love the video because it's so chill and it makes you want to get away to a nice beautiful island escaping reality. My friend Katie said "The video is so cool it makes her want to go swimming, LOL", I can't wait to go see him perform.

When You're Strange Documentary "The Doors"

The first time I ever heard The Doors was on the rap song called "Takeover" by Jay-Z dissing Nas and I was so fired up about that beat, then later surprisingly I had the song "Five To One" on my iPod and I also discovered that I had "Break On Through". I recall saying "this was the original song to the Takeover Beat" I was always excited about hearing "Five To One" and "Break On Through" because when it came on my iPod it was like going to some kind of religious mass answering all the questions I ever had. One summer day I was in Harlem smoking weed with friends and I saw The Doors movie playing on HBO Demand by Oliver Stone and from there on my world changed, the 60's scene became apart of my world, I quickly started downloading all The Doors songs and it was like a book about my life. 19 years later from when The Doors movie by Oliver Stone was released here comes a Documentary called "When You're Strange" Directed by award winning writer/ director Tom Dicillo and narrated by Johnny Depp seemed to me to be the ending of a long story about The Doors.
